IPH CANS: Conversational AI for Social Worker Training

In collaboration with the University of Kentucky’s Center for Innovation in Population Health (IPH), we are exploring the function of LLMs in social work training scenarios. The result is a highly engaging learning experience.
Leveraging conversational AI agents and synthetic actors, the system can simulate real-world scenarios. We can generate realistic personas for social work clients, linked to training vignettes. These synthetic actors can chat with social workers/trainees in a natural, conversational manner, mimicking the way they would interact with clients in the field.
