Access to information is essential, and search functionalities always have room for optimization. Our AI assistant, powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enhances access to resources on the University of Kentucky’s Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) website. We’ve built a vector database that answers questions with information from specific UK resources in a conversational manner, helping students, professors, and other visitors quickly find relevant information. By leveraging AI-driven search and retrieval, this tool streamlines access to CELT’s vast educational resources. Future iterations will introduce functionality for uploading PDFs of syllabi, ensuring alignment with university requirements and further supporting faculty.
