Creative Link
Creative Link for Advancing Digital Health brings together investigators from the arts, humanities, and other creative disciplines with biomedical researchers and providers to identify gaps in healthcare and develop innovative digital solutions. The project promotes and facilitates the formation of multidisciplinary teams that can compete nationally for high-profile funding opportunities in the STEM+H fields and participate in robust commercialization efforts, resulting in transformational impacts on national, as well as Kentucky-specific, healthcare outcomes.

College of Medicine

The UK College of Medicine, founded in 1960, provides an innovative, high-quality education through its nationally recognized curriculum, emphasizing early clinical experiences, continuity as a guiding principle, integration of the basic and clinical sciences, and innovative teaching and learning methods such as small-group tutorials, standardized patients, computer-assisted instruction, clinical training models, and interactive lectures and laboratory exercises.

UK Healthcare

UK HealthCare is the hospitals and clinics of the University of Kentucky. But it is so much more. It is 9,000 people – physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals – all dedicated to providing the most advanced, most effective care available, not just in Kentucky but anywhere. It is physicians and other medical professionals trained in the most sophisticated, most up-to-the-minute medical techniques so that no Kentuckian, no matter how sick they are or how rare their illness, needs to go far from home for the treatment they need. It is a Level 1 trauma center, ready every minute of every day to treat even the most serious injuries when they come through the door. And a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, caring for the tiniest and sickest newborns – and giving them a chance not just to live, but to live normal, productive, happy lives.

Its unique ecosystem of non-destructive instrumentation offers key scientific capabilities that are crucial to addressing the challenging variability of heritage science contexts.

MyoAnalytics

MyoAnalytics was founded to facilitate the application of automation in scientific and clinical settings.
We provide analytical and consulting services for skeletal muscle imaging using established and validated pipelines.
We also assist in building and optimizing new and custom algorithms to facilitate cutting edge research in skeletal muscle. Founded by Dr. Yuan Wen.

King Library

The King Library Annex supports a wide variety of learning, teaching, and research needs of UK students, faculty, and staff. The Annex is home to The Stacks, a unique space with specialized equipment, resources, and events dedicated to digital and data-intensive scholarship. The Annex also houses materials and library services for the Science & Engineering Library, including collections for astronomy, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, mathematics, physics, statistics, and most engineering disciplines, and the Maps Library, which holds the Gwen Curtis Map Collection and the GIS Lab. The Center for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) is located on the Fifth Floor.

Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History

The Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History is internationally recognized for its work in collecting and preserving oral histories. With over 17,000 oral history interviews, Nunn Center collections span an incredible breadth of topics and provide an invaluable resource to researchers across Kentucky and around the world. We engage in deep collaboration with our many partners, assisting with interview structure and technique, providing studio space and equipment, and helping instructors build semester-long courses utilizing our resources and collections.
